CryoPort Systems Inc was founded in 1999 to advance the next generation of cost efficient cryogenic shipping servicing the growing, global biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. CryoPort has pioneered patented technological breakthroughs in cryogenic frozen packaging at -150º C, or lower, for transporting biological materials, including a reusable shipper currently in full production at CryoPort’s Southern California facilities. CryoPort uses advanced technologies developed for aerospace and other industries producing products that are more resourceful, easier to use, retains -150º C or less over an extended period of time and is functionally superior for temperature sensitive materials than the traditional dry ice shipping methods in use.
