The Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Excellence Award recognizes an organization that demonstrates a measurable impact on patient health outcomes through supply chain excellence. This year’s program attracted a record number of entries, with submissions reviewed by an independent panel of supply chain professionals.
Cryoport Systems was recognized for becoming the first global supply chain solutions provider to achieve ISO 21973 certification, which is the first international standard developed specifically to address the transportation risks associated with human cells for therapeutic use. The certification applies across Cryoport Systems’ global operations, including those serving the U.S. biopharmaceutical and advanced therapy market. It provides a standardized, audited framework designed to strengthen quality and consistency across the complex cell and gene therapy lifecycle.
