New Global Supply Chain Center Launch Will Expand Cryoport’s Presence in Houston Markets

Cryoport Systems’ new Global Supply Chain Center, location in Houston, Texas, will service the massive life sciences research sector in the Houston metropolitan area and expand its local presence. The facility, being about 21,000 square feet in size and home to high pile storage and office space, is planned to officially launch on June 14, 2022.

In 2019, Cryoport was able to expand into the biostorage industry through the acquisition of CRYOGENE. Through this, Cryoport continued to expand in the Houston market by streamlining its existing logistics processes into single locations and thus supplement its own BioServices business segment.

Within the past few years, both Cryoport and CRYOGENE have greatly expanded and solidified their presence in Houston markets. The new Global Supply Chain Center will contribute to this process and provide Cryoport with strengthened capabilities and more extensive service offerings both regionally and nationwide.
