Cryoport Systems’ facility in Clermont-Ferrand is a critical component of our global BioServices infrastructure, purpose-built to support clinical sample management, pre-analytical lab processing, and biostorage for temperature-sensitive and irreplaceable materials. Located in central France and spanning 16,000 square feet, this facility is designed to meet the complex needs of cell therapy, gene therapy, biologics, and centralized patient sample programs across the EU and beyond.
As the hub for our pre-analytical laboratory operations, the Clermont-Ferrand center offers hands-on processing services performed by trained and certified personnel, including PBMC isolation, aliquoting, and plasma or serum extraction. These capabilities allow clients to streamline upstream workflows, reduce risk in sample handling, and maintain chain-of-custody integrity from clinic to lab to storage.
